FOLKESTONE, KENT

Date: 14/04/2006 - 17/04/2006

So, the Purple Nasties staggered to Folkestone carrying a collective cocktail cabinet whose contents far exceeded that of the on-site bar, so much so that other teams started seeing us for their specialist shorts rather than walking the long distance to the clubhouse.

Combine this with clothing that was specifically designed and coloured so that Snakebite (and other cocktails) couldn't stain no matter how many pints of it were poured over their heads.

The result was bruises (mostly Robo's), sprains, and even the odd hospital visit or two. No fatalities so far fortunately, although a couple are still in a critical condition on life-support.

Cocktail discoveries of the tour: Puppy's 'Bull Pup' and Tony's 'PresTone'. We're looking forward to Cliff's 'Clifftonian' at Maldon - apparantly he's had to place a special import order of 'Punsch' from Sweden as it is not available in the UK!

Injuries of the tour: Robo's bruised ribs and Chav's squashed nuts.

Special mention: Marcus going way beyond the call of duty for dressing up at School Disco night. Could the title of 'The Bearded Lady' be due for transfer soon?
