Often regarded as one of the summer season's 'serious tours', where like-minded hockey clubs come together and engage in high-quality matches for the benefit of all those present.
And then we turned up.
So as you might imagine, all of the silverware went to just about every other team except ourselves. But then we were just practicing for Bognor's 'Most Sociable Team' award - a considerable feat which requires drunkenness, comedy and naughtiness in equal measures.
Let's just hope Maldon allows us back next year. |
