Southend Hockey Club are proud to announce we will be Facilitating the South East for Rush Hockey. "Its Fast, its Furious, the new era of Hockey has arrived" (England Hockey) Its 5aside or 4aside....with a squad size of up to 7. Players can shoot from annwhere. It can be indoors and outdoors. Basic hockey rules apply: No feet, No stick tackling, No contact. Taster Sessions are taking place at Southend Tennis and Leisure Centre, Garons Park, Southend, SS2 4FA. 7-9pm. 6th, 13th, 20, 27th Feb 2012. FREE of charge, Mixed Adults aged over 16yrs. A new generation of player, suitable for players of ALL abilities and male and female hockey plaeyrs will enjoy the thrill of the new format and you dont even need a stick, as one is provided. If you are interested in trying it out... please post your interest on thread and get friends and family involved. The 'taster' are indeed on Monday nights, but following the success of these the sessions we can be arranged for a more suitable night for ALL to get involved. For those players whom do not train on a Monday night, get yourself together and let me know how many players you have attending. I want to enforce the fact, these players DO NOT have to be members of Southend HC. Following from a meeting i attended yesterday with England Hockey Board we are pleased to inform you all that Rush Hockey will continue at Garon's Park 7-8pm on the following TUESDAY'S: 20th 27th March & 3rd 10th April. 3 per session. Please see below the following dates that the sessions will be on. 10th 17th 24th 31st - MAY The session will continue to be 7-8pm and at a charge of 3. If you are keen to take part in more hockey and develop your skills, please let me know and i can point you in the right direction during the course of the summer.
