Southend Hockey Club, which merged with Southend Ladies' Hockey Club in 2008, is the largest club in Southend and surrounding areas, providing high-standard and sociable hockey playing opportunities for over 200 members.

During the 2012/2013 season, Southend Hockey Club will field four men's teams, four ladies' teams, two indoor men's teams, two indoor ladies' teams, one mixed team and a youth team.

Our highly-qualified coaching department offer specialist training for all ages, genders and levels. All children are especially welcomed by our CRB-vetted coaches, who provide a specialist training programme for our younger members whilst we work towards our ClubFirst accreditation during the season. We also offer extra-curricular training at a number of selected local schools.
