In 2012, SHC are bringing a brand spanking new Hockey Academy targeted towards Youth and Adults whom may or may not have played Hockey before, to get back into the Fun and Exciting sport and to brush up their skills ready for next season, or to head into the already successful Youth Development.

We have qualified and CRB-checked experienced coaches who are very keen to share their knowledge and fly the flag for Southend Hockey Club.

We have been very lucky to have full support and backing from England Hockey to bring success to our plans.

To satisfy those of you who are keen to watch the success of the Olympics with a pint in your hand, we have also built connections with local Harvester Restaurants to watch the games... or if you'd prefer to watch it in the comfort of the legendary Belfairs Clubhouse, then the option is also there.

We have a 2 day Academy already in place on the 12th and 13th April from 10am till 3pm.

And our BIGGEST CLUB DAY yet on the 14th April... Be Inspired Launch Day...!!!!
